Stamp Making and Printing Workshop

Save $30 when you register for both this workshop and the Botanical Dyeing: Wardrobe Revival workshop!

Join me in the studio and learn how to make your very own lino carved stamp(s). You will learn the tools and techniques needed to carve soft rubber/ lino blocks and how to print with a variety of methods on a variety of materials. Each student will have one 4 x 6in sheet of lino to carve as either one large block or several small stamps. You will print on paper and fabric and are welcome to bring fabric or garments from home to print on.

Plus you'll take home your new skills and stamps to do plenty more printing at home. 

2 Part workshop: 

Friday Aug 28th 7:00-8:30pm  : Part 1 - planning, sketching and carving. Take home tools to carve on your own time.

Sunday Aug 30th 2:00-4:30pm : Part 2 - printing, we will print on paper cards, printing paper, a small cloth gift bag and any other fabric pieces you bring from home. You also get access to my collection of hand carved stamps to use on your garments.
